The sublingual spray is absorbed directly in the mouth, where it quickly enters the bloodstream and gets to work, fast. In combination, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 boost a protein called MGP that protects blood vessels against calcification. Vitamin D3 is responsible for ensuring that the calcium is absorbed easily, whilst the K2 element ensures that the body properly utilises the calcium, through directing it to the required areas of bones and teeth. This inhibits any calcium from depositing in vessel walls which could lead to blockages. Ultimately, the pair advocate for advanced cardiovascular and bone health.
Particularly during the winter months, a vitamin D3 supplement is recommended. The shorter days and fewer hours of daylight mean less exposure to sunlight, resulting in our skin cells not being able to make enough of the all-important sunshine vitamin.
